Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using ScanJunki ("the Service"), operated by SCANJUNKI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17235958) with its registered office at 20 Blackdown Crescent, Havant, England, PO9 5AZ ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ScanJunki provides eBay product lookup, pricing analysis, and profit calculation tools for eBay sellers. The Service uses eBay's public APIs and data you provide to generate estimates. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any pricing data, fee calculations, or profit estimates.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. eBay Account Linking

You may optionally link your eBay account to enhance the Service. When you do, you authorise us to access eBay data on your behalf using eBay's OAuth system. We will never access your eBay password. You can unlink your eBay account at any time. We will not list, purchase, or modify anything on your eBay account.

5. Free Access

ScanJunki is currently provided free of charge. No payment, subscription, or payment method is required to use the Service, and all features are included. We may introduce paid plans in the future, and if we do we will notify you before any charges apply.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not: (a) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond normal use; (c) resell access to the Service; (d) use automated tools to access the Service beyond its intended interface; (e) interfere with the Service's operation or security.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data as described therein.

By using the Service, you agree that we may collect anonymised, aggregated data from your search activity (such as product demand signals and regional trends) and share this data with third parties. This data contains no personal identifiers and cannot be traced back to you. You may opt out of contributing to aggregated insights at any time via your account settings.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that pricing data is accurate, complete, or up to date. Fee calculations are estimates based on publicly available eBay fee schedules and may not reflect your exact fees. You are responsible for verifying all data before making purchasing decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCANJUNKI LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits or purchasing decisions made based on Service data.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
